Existence in Life 2019-30

Everyone, bar none, are existing until we are not; a fact. How we exist is up to us as individuals in most cases. Being rich or poor, young-old, smart-dumb, are some things that does affect our existence at the time.

We CAN do things that will change how our existence will turn out. A lottery winner can lose what they won and be back in the same way of life before.

Fate can play its part in what we do differently than before and affect our lives in many ways. Adapting to the change in life, or not, is up to us, for we all have some choices in how we go on with our lives.

We should NOT make excuses for how it could have been, but we can take credit for how we adapted to the now.

Easier to say than to do at times.

You NEVER know!!!!!  The time, the place, the occasion, or the why! But, we all have a reason to wish for continued beats, the continued noise in our chests. Not to worry, but to be reminded that we are indeed human, not an AI with no soul.  Hmmmmmm.!!!!

They say you never know

a moment in time to see

When you least expect it

it was meant to be

It takes an erratic car

an accident with a ladder

A holdup at a market place

or simply wasn’t your day

How much we take for granted

this micron time on Earth

Living for tomorrow – not today

Death is but, a heartbeat away.

That being said, it might be wise

to consider some things

Which may be important in life

Where do you want to go?

What does it mean to be internal

where the mind is there

The body is a thing of the past

and thinking rules.

Again, the heartbeat will tell,

and we will then know!!!!!

Life and Living          2018-83

What is life all about, the living itself or instead what we have done during the living? Each of us have the same amount of hours in the day to live and do.

Some of that time is spent eating and, of course, sleeping. There is that thing called WORK too!  

There is a multitude of other things that can take up our time, some quite fun, actually. I guess my next thoughts are meant for some and not for others.

What do we do that really means something to others? For instance: Is what we do only about ourselves? Do we just seek self-gratification and nothing else? Could we do something that means something to someone else instead? This thought process is like the saying about Christmas time. It is better to give than receive, but I believe many would not agree with that saying.   Normal!

We all do the same things every day, without any additional thoughts. Some are repetitious and perhaps boring to a degree. Some have the little things that make it somewhat different, but, all in all, still the same.

BUT, if we were to have a concentrated effort on the OTHER, and not US, that might prove to be VERY interesting in the long term of things in life. Wouldn’t that be different?

The joy, the pleasure, the love and many other feelings that OTHER would have, might very well make our day one of immense pleasure to ourselves.

Coupled with that, I would think the feeling of satisfaction could be exquisite. Many hours, many opportunities to give and in return receive, with the knowledge that we do make a difference to another person in the process.

The hours add up and our live journey to the final bell and maybe we will hear the ring of a difference to someone who NEEDS our actions in life.

God is there to listen to our needs, our desires, our wants, for He is Aware, Active, Alive, and ALWAYS PRESENT. Can’t guarantee what will happen if you speak to Him, but He is there………………

Richness Waiting 2018-66

Oh, how we want the state of existing to be desirable and at the forefront of something to be desirable, but in great abundance for us. Sometimes, things happen that prevent this and we might WANT it, but cannot get or have it; but we wait for it. Such is life!!!!

 

Richness Waiting  2018-66

 

Lo, behold, the richness squandered,

Lying low, toward day gone by,

Spending time, it stays the moment still,

Wondering of its existence with a why?

 

Ever mindful of a wondrous time set,

Waiting, hopeful for another chance,

The richness stays, upon the distance,

Once more waiting, waiting ever so,

Finally stating for all to hear,

No more, no more, forever more.

Life’s Questions 2018-60

We all have questions about life, to a degree, especially about life or the afterlife. It is great to have these questions, and doubting is a normal thing of existence. But, even if we do not get or have the answers, it is still a good thing to have questions.

The equation in life is but a paradox,

It sits on the verge of reality.

A balance, a draw either way,

From knowing or being lost in a void.

Multitudes of signals transpire,

With highlights of supposition.

The answer is, but opinion,

One to be recognized for what it is.

It remains, as to who really knows all things,

Of life, with its totality of questions.

Only God knows for sure

the answers to what all ask, that all wonder.

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow – Living Life 2018-43

Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow -Living life    2018-43

Each day of our lives, we wake up and what then follows is YOUR day! Then eventually we hit the sack at night and for a period of time slumber and sleep overtakes us. Then only our dreams keep us company until the morning and another day begins.

Those waking moments are all different, although we could argue, the days are somewhat the same. This is NOT true, there are many, many occasions that make the day unique to itself. The near miss by a car while driving, the bird that crapped on our shoulder as we walked in the park, the flavorful luncheon that was superb, and other varied things that make that day special in itself.

Consider that others around us are experiencing the same moments that make us all realize that what happens is ours alone, but together they make us also the same; going through life, wonderful life at its fullest. We share the same air, see the same clouds, smell the same richness of the earth, and yet we are individuals doing it.

A person in solitary confinement in jail could argue this is not true, but he is incorrect too.  Each of that person’s days have differences that they would see if only they would observe them in the process. A bug crawling across the floor, a fly buzzing around the head, the shadow of the sun making its travel across the room, all make it different to yesterday or tomorrow. I didn’t say it would be an exciting day for that person, just different somewhat.

It is amazing that we have individual minds that analyze, interpret, individually think about so many things, all at the same time, but we are alone in our own compute type, mind, generated thoughts.  We have the ability to think in a different way than others, having opinions that we either share or differ with, and we act on our thoughts in ways that conclude in OUR way and not the way of others.

This is normal and not unusual, but unique to us individually.  Our species has this ability, where we can rationally make decisions whereas animals of other sorts, can think, can act, but not do what we can do, decide on what is right and wrong.

We also have the right to believe or not believe in a higher power.  Some will deny, and that is their right, but many do believe and that is our right also. God, if we believe in Him, sits and takes in our thoughts that we do think and believe.   He knows who does believe and those that do not.  I cannot say that He makes decisions on what he notices. If He does, I would rather believe like I do believe than not believe and find out he looks at the non-believers in a way that does not bode well.   Time will tell!

I believe that God is a loving God and maybe that is all there is about this subject and I will not dwell on it, because, again, time will tell, and we will ALL find out eventually.

Life and a Dime  2018-37

Life is like a dime!  There are two sides to it

And many of us are predisposed to one side.

 

Some think this way and others the other way.

And not many in the middle; the edge.

 

Our beliefs are what they are, or

What they became, through life experiences.

 

What we hold dear to our hearts is not

What others have in their minds and actions

 

Both of us could be correct, in a strange

Sort of way; or wrong as it may be.

 

Regardless, we feel as we do and do

As we feel, at times, right or wrong.

 

It WOULD be great if we COULD talk

Rationally with one another; no discord

 

We MIGHT be able to solve many

Problems of the world; together

 

Do I think this is possible; NO!

We are scorpions; we are what we are

 

That is too bad; that is sad; what then

Are we faced with in life?

So grand! So wonderful to behold,

The existence of life, of living

To experience, to have, and continue

Good and bad times, laughter and

Sorrow, accomplishments and failures

All intertwined together as one

Not to be taken for granted,

Nor wasted by acts of self-admonishment

A gift to explode with adventure

In daily trips or encounters with self.

Each second a now, of yesterday,

Today and tomorrow of energy,

A smile, a tear, a giggle, a sneer,

All a part of its totality of composition.

No guarantees of goodness,

Of comfort or times free of pain,

Only a chance to make whatever

With the cards played.

Each being, a life-aura

To spend eternity of living…

Thinking about life 2018-28

Thinking about life    2018-28

We all go through lives with the same number of hours in the day. What we do in those hours are mostly up to us, with some work, some play, eating meals, commuting here and there, and other necessary chores of life.

Hour after hour we use them to accomplish things we must or want to do. BUT, how many of us get caught up in mundane actions that do not really matter in the long run of things in life?

Could we, if we tried, look at many things differently?  To take the time to just look into the eyes of someone or something we love and let that one know how much we appreciate and love them, would be terrific.

Or, tell a friend the same thing with conviction and meaning. To try to look at others with another outlook and see them in a diverse light. To say than you to anyone that did something out of the ordinary in a special way.

To change our opinion on someone of another color, religion, creed, ethnicity, or anything else which is foreign to us in our way of living.  To actually TALK with one of those “others” and ask them a question about their way of life, which is contrary to ours. It is TOO easy to ignore them and go on with our lives, doing our things, and wondering about them and their things.

Do we stay in a clam shell of living and exclude what we are uncomfortable with, and keep our ignorance and not expand our knowledge? IF we do, we are NOT growing, but instead, staying stagnant in our lives. We can make excuses, but that is all they are and, reality is, we are snobs of our own making.

We COULD be afraid to do anything, as it will maybe make us vulnerable to ridicule or worse yet, make us stand out to someone.  We do NOT want that to happen, do we? Yet, it is easy to criticize and not know another person that belongs to any group we are uncertain of and let our unawareness rule.

Oh well, that is said, and I can move on in my slap happy way and think I am so great in saying all this, which is bull crap to some anyway.

God’s Gift 2018-07

How many of us get a second chance in life? How many of us, don’t realize it, when it happens? I would think many of us, but I am not going to include myself in asking this, since I did get a second chance and do appreciate what I received. I was born, I then had two experiences, one physical and the other involving my brain, and in a way, then, was born again, in my mind.

 

God’s Gift  2018-07

 

God’s gift to me was life,

The beginning followed by rebirth

The many past years of living,

Plus, a second chance on earth

From year one, till now, an experience,

Thought of, as one to succeed.

This period to reflect on past times

In ways of thought, words and deed.

For now, my life is renewed with joy

But this time with insight, from today

It’s hard to change to a new lifestyle

From the old archaic way

But with this chance He has given me

I’ll be a better me, than was

Time will tell if I succeed in this

But God’s gift to me is thus.

To start over, renew, and rejoice

To give, to share, and enjoy this life

To look at living as a thing to treasure

And live each day as one with pleasure.
